Morgan State University alum Raymond Scott Dingle was officially promoted to Brigadier General at Fort Myer, Virginia, this fall making him the 16th General Officer to graduate from the historically Black college in Maryland.

Lt. Gen. Vincent R. Stewart became the first Marine Corps officer to become director of the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency this week. Stewart who was promoted lieutenant general Thursday also took charge of the Joint Functional Component Command for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance.
