The Black Engineer of the Year Awards (BEYA) STEM Global Competitiveness Conference runs from February 7-9, at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, DC.
Over 300 of the most accomplished men and women in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM ) will be recognized at the 33rd annual BEYA STEM Conference.
Other conference highlights include training and development workshops, leadership seminars for managers and executives, veterans transitioning from the services, students preparing for the workplace, and recruiters learning how to connect with potential hires.
The BEYA STEM Job Fair offers on the spot job offers, networking with recruiters, and Job Ready Certification for college students.
BEYA’s annual Stars & Stripes event includes the Veterans’ Transition Initiative, Pre-Dinner high school mentoring, as well as honors and awards to African American military leaders.
Register by January 25, 2019, to help build the STEM Pipeline and take part in hands-on workshops and activities for middle and high school students, and STEM programs showcasing undergraduates.
The BEYA STEM Conference is co-hosted by Lockheed Martin Corporation and the Council of Engineering Deans of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and sponsored by Aerotek.
