Anne Sempowski Ward, a former assistant vice president of African American Marketing for the Coca-Cola Company, has been appointed president and chief operating officer of Fashion Fair Cosmetics—the world’s largest cosmetic and skin care company for women of color.
In Ward’s new role, effective October 1, she will lead sales, product development, supply chain and marketing. She will also create and oversee all business development strategies and implement diversified initiatives to strengthen brand equity.
Ward is best known for launching significant African-American marketing strategies and programs within both Fortune 500 companies. Ward also created the “Total You” beauty platform across P&G’s largest beauty brands.
The Detroit native received her bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering and materials science from Duke University. She also earned a Global MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
