Maryland declares May 1 "Kimberly Oliver Day" to honor the state's first National Teacher of the Year
On May 1, 2006, Governor Robert L. Ehrlich will officially recognize Maryland’s first National Teacher of the Year, Kimberly Oliver, a kindergarten teacher at Broad Acres Elementary School in Montgomery County. Governor Ehrlich will share her education platform with Maryland media members at a reception at the State House.
