Howard G. Adams to be honored at GEM @ 30

Howard G. Adams - a 1996 recipient of the U.S. Presidential Awards for Excellence in Science, Mathematics, Engineering and Mentoring - will be honored at the 30th anniversary gala at the 2006 annual conference of The National GEM Consortium, or the National Consortium for Graduate Degrees for Minorities in Engineering and Science, Inc. Proceeds from the awards banquet at the InterContinental Hotel on the Magnificent Mile in Chicago, Illinois, June 28-30, 2006, will benefit GEM's endowment and support graduate fellowship awards.
