Prairie View A&M announces appointment of new Dean of Engineering
Prairie View A&M University has announced the appointment of Kendall T. Harris as dean of the College of Engineering. Harris, 39, is the sixth dean--succeeding Milton Bryant, who announced his retirement earlier this year--of the college which has an established reputation for producing black engineers. Harris began tenure at PVAMU as associate dean and professor of mechanical engineering in 2005. Dr. Harris’ external research efforts have garnered more than $3.2 million in research and program funding.
