Prince George's County, MD announces its Professionals In the Mix: Mixers with a Purpose series

Prince George's County, MD proudly announces its Professionals In the Mix: Mixers with a Purpose series. These events, being held in and around the DC-Metro area, will proudly showcase Metro DC's best and brightest business professionals and entrepreneurs while giving all attending the opportunity to network and support other small local businesses. The last mixer was held on May 21, 2009 at the Aloft Hotel at the National Harbor. The mixers are planned by Theresa D. Royal, who is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP).

"AAEW is elated over the excitement and partnerships Professionals In The Mix has garnered," says Theresa Royal, CMP, Executive Director of AAEW. "We encourage true professionals to come and network, ultimately partner on deals with each other and we are setting an example by doing the same."

For the June 18th event located at the Gallery Restaurant in Silver Spring, AAEW has partnered with Circle of Champions and Emmy Vickers Enterprises. Both business owners are also AAEW Legacy Award nominees. Emmy Vickers (Legacy Female Entrepreneur Award) of Emmy Vickers Enterprises and Robert Yates (Legacy Visionary Award) of Circle of Champions will be honored this October at the AAEW Legacy Awards Dinner. The second Professionals In the Mix: Mixers with a Purpose will start promptly at 5:30 and include cocktails, light fare, giveaways, plenty of time to network with over 200 attendees and mood music by DJ Jovan. AAEW is a 3-day program with sessions designed to empower African-American and other minorities as they strive to become entrepreneurs, as well as assist current entrepreneurs to excel and build a lasting legacy.
