Obituary: David R. Barclay dies at 73

David R. Barclay, former corporate vice president of work force diversity for Hughes Aircraft Company, passed away Tuesday in Los Angeles, CA., said family members. Barclay was actively involved in equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, and human relations programs for three decades.

As corporate vice president and member of the company's policy board, he served as the corporate advocate and chief officer for the development of programs for an integrated, diverse work force.

Barclay was a long time writer on affirmative action issues. Read some of his past commentaries below.
