Tuskegee University's College of Engineering, Architecture, and Physical Sciences is offering summer programs to high school students and new graduates with activities designed to motivate and prepare them for study and careers in engineering. Participating students will also have access to campus resources including computers, libraries, athletic facilities, and health services. Summer programs at Tuskegee include:

MITE

The program includes laboratory demonstrations, design projects, lectures on college admission, financial aid, cooperative education career opportunities, and field trips.

FASTREC

Freshman Accelerated Start-Up and Training for Retention in Engineering Curricula (FASTREC) is an eight-week program offered to high school graduates who are interested in engineering careers and are eligible for admission into Tuskegee University. Students pursue an intensive course of study in mathematics, science, engineering, and graphics and receive a freshman orientation. Students can earn up to seven credits towards a B.Sc. degree in engineering. Industry sponsors award scholarships of up to $5,000 per year to selected students, depending on their academic performance in the program.

FPICS

The Feeder Program in Computer Science is a two- to four-week enrichment program for high school students entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year.
