children will have the opportunity to discover new ways in which
technology is being used as an important tool in educating young

Surf the World Wide Web, learn more about the latest
technologies, and ask the experts: Representatives from IBM will
be on hand to assist conference attendees in exploring the many
facets of technology.

The
classroom isn't the only place to experience the excitement of
technology and science. Several of our corporate partners —
including IBM, the Department of Transportation, and the
Department of the Navy — bring live, state-of-the-art
demonstration programs and exhibits to this event. These
exhibits are designed to stimulate interaction and involvement
for people of all ages

In
engineering, information technology, and other technical fields,
youth summer camps and enrichment programs have been designed by
public and private organizations to expose kids to technology
careers, professionals, and equipment. Representatives will be
on hand to provide information on a variety of technology
outreach programs for kids.

A series of 30-minute, family-focused presentations and hands-on
demonstrations showcasing how today’s technological advances
can assist in the areas of Education, Health, Career Planning,
Communications, Personal Finance, and Youth Entrepreneurship.

Exhibit Halls A&B
Representatives and recruiters from colleges, universities, and
major employers from around the country will be available to
meet with college and high school students, one-on-one, to
discuss career opportunities in engineering and
technology-related professions.
