The summit also honored Florida A&M University President Larry Robinson with the 2024 Nexus International Thought Leadership Award for his commitment to addressing environmental challenges and his leadership in advancing research and education in this field.
In response to the growing environmental challenges, the Center for Environmental Equity and Justice was founded at the School of the Environment at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
During a recent interview with USBE magazine, Ibeanusi highlighted FAMUs dedication to training students in ecosystem characterization, ecological processes, forecasting and modeling, and human dimensions.
