This week, a Kohler Bulletin announced Angela Barbee as the new Vice President – Engineering and New Product Development, Global Faucets. She is responsible for crafting the Global Faucets product vision to increase growth in both existing and new markets.
According to the statement, Angela reports to Daniel Brohn, president – Global Faucets.
“Angela will bring a wealth of experience in product development, innovation, and process,” said Brohn. “She will be a great addition, and I look forward to introducing her to the team in the months ahead.”
Angela, a longtime collaborator with Career Communications Group, publisher of US Black Engineer and Women of Color magazines and host of their annual conference events, joins Kohler Co. from General Motors, where she spent 23 years. Angela most recently served as director – Global Design Operations, overseeing five business units.
She received her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Wayne State University and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University. She also completed the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross Business School Executive Education Program.
