The first BEYA Leading Voices summit hosted by Career Communications Group (CCG) on the STEM City USA platform will take place on Friday, June 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST.
The summit will highlight recent outcomes of the collaboration between historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and minority-serving institutions, as well as partnerships with tech companies on the latest innovations.
There will be sessions on technology commercialization, artificial intelligence (AI) and HBCUs, the transformative power of 5G, and a special presentation by Dr. David K. Wilson, president of Morgan State University, the largest HBCU in Maryland.
“We are excited to present this summit to our audience as it will showcase the power of technology and how far we have come. I am honored to have Dr. David Wilson join us to talk about how HBCUs are adapting to the technological changes we’re seeing today,” Tyrone Taborn, CEO of Career Communications Group, said.
