He has pursued various Navy careers, ranging from certified nuclear engineer and submarine officer to fighter pilot and commanding officer of a Navy F/A-18 squadron. Jesse retired as the only officer in U.S. Navy history to qualify as both a certified nuclear submarine engineer and F/A-18 pilot. He accrued over 2,000 tactical flight hours and 630 carrier arrested landings and was awarded five Navy Air Medals and a Navy Commendation Medal.
His business experience is equally impressive, ranging from the vice president/general manager of a biotech manufacturing facility to senior vice president for operations of a light sport aircraft company to chief operating officer of a medical device company. He is a process-oriented strategic thinker and problem solver with vast experience in organizational growth, integration, and change management.
Jesse has also overseen operations at a biomanufacturing facility, assisted C-Suite with strategic decision-making and planning for the commercialization of a medical device start-up, and led engineering, production, supply chain, and quality departments in the design completion, and initial production of the revolutionary ICON A5 Amphibious Light Sport Aircraft.
He also led global operations for a growing medical service company that enabled the non-invasive assessment of coronary blood flow, oversaw the startup and operation of a new $70M biotech manufacturing facility, and led 500 manufacturing engineers, technicians, and assembly personnel in producing cardiovascular medical devices.
