Have you got the gift cards and presents for your tree? But did you know the Christmas event of the Black Engineer of the Year Awards (BEYA) science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) Metaverse is now showing in Career Communications Group's virtual world?
During the holidays, BEYA alumni will be having the time of their lives watching vintage musical and comedy-drama films such as Paradise in Harlem and Rock, Rock, Rock! on STEM City USA.
Paradise in Harlem was first shown in 1939, starring Frank H. Wilson.
Rock, Rock, Rock! is a 1956 jukebox musical featuring performances by rock and roll singers of the era, including Chuck Berry, LaVern Baker, Teddy Randazzo, the Moonglows, the Flamingos, and The Teenagers with Frankie Lymon as lead singer.
As you watch STEM City USA's Christmas edition, watch out for Black music royalty like Count Basie. He represented American culture in Jazz, Blues, and Swing bands.
Set the tempo for Christmas past and future on STEM City USA. The Vintage Holiday Celebration will run on December 24th, 8 pm-9:30 pm EST https://stemcityusa.com
