With TI since 1995, Prairie View A&M University electrical engineering graduate Leona Green is responsible for implementing and executing campaigns to stimulate the market and create demand for the company's digital signal processing (DSP), wireless, and imaging customer bases. She manages teams that support TI's $6-billion Applications Specific Products business, have increased DSP Design-In opportunities by 40 percent ($75 million) between 1999 and 2000, and facilitate world-wide DSP workshops and seminars. She also created and managed the interactive DSP Developers' Village Web Portal. She has received two promotions in the past year. First member of her family to attend college and an active member of her church in Dallas, she serves as a mentor for youth in several community programs and as a recruiter of Prairie View students for TI. She is pursuing an M.B.A. at Southern Methodist University.
