The National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers, or NOBCChE for short, has announced that its virtual conference will be held September 24-25.
“Due to COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to change the format of our conference from live to virtual. Our planning team has gone the extra mile to make sure that the online format will offer the same opportunities as our live event usually does,” the statement said.
This year’s conference events include the Master Scientist Series, incorporating the Winifred Burks-Houck and Percy Julian Lectures, the Career and Academic Fair, the NOBCChE ConneXions Poster Competition, and professional and student development sessions.
