The National Technical Association, Inc. (NTA) has announced that the 92nd Annual Conference will be held online from September 23-26, 2020 with Clark Atlanta University serving as this year’s institutional host.
The conference will feature remote presentations from technical experts with live participant interaction.
The theme for the conference is: “NTA 20/20 Vision: STEM Diversity – Powering the Next Generation – Keeping It 100!”
According to the NTA’s website, discussions based on the theme will expound on the ideas and methods available to the NTA to broaden participation in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and assist in training the technical workforce for the global economy.
The event will kick off with a live broadcast of the opening speaker followed by two days of online panels, live chats and other special events to promote professional and career development.
Established in 1925, the NTA was set up to create a medium for expressing minority professional concerns for the lack of minority participation in the mainstream of architectural and engineering activity in America.
