STEM City USA’s Green Summit will kick off with a conversation featuring Gerald Johnson, executive vice president for global manufacturing & sustainability at General Motors (GM). Johnson is the recipient of the 2021 Black Engineer of the Year Award (BEYA) and is recognized for advancing GM’s diversity and inclusion programs and COVID-19 responses.
As a keynote speaker for STEM City USA’s Green Summit, Johnson will discuss GM initiatives, including the accomplishments of Factory ZERO, the company’s first electric vehicle assembly plant, and GM’s plans to improve the planet’s climate from their platform in the auto industry.
