Career Communications Group (CCG) is celebrating the first anniversary of "High-Tech Sunday." The podcast, which is focused on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) careers, now features 36 episodes with topics such as mentoring, professional development, and more inspirational conversation.
In its inaugural year, High-Tech Sunday attracted hundreds of CCG hall of fame alumni, Black Engineer of the Year Award (BEYA) winners, and Women of Color (WOC) STEM award winners and continues to expand its reach.
For the 37th episode, tune in for a conversation with William Wells on "aSTEAM Dream."
William is executive director of aSTEAM Village, an organization that works to engage students and families in pursuits focused on science, technology, engineering, arts, and math career (STEAM) pathways.
Under his leadership, aSTEAM Village was recognized as the 2019-20 National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Jr. Pre-College Initiative National Chapter of the Year.
As the architect of aSTEAM Village’s innovative program, William has led autonomous surface vehicle (ASV) robotics and engineering teams to several national championships. More than 85% of students focused on ASV move on to college or the workforce.
High-Tech Sunday's weekly program is produced by and for CCG’s community of hall of fame alumni, thought leaders, STEM professionals, and aspiring students, to bring a concentrated discussion around technological advancements and achievements based on universal moral principles.
