Recently, football fans and Alabama A&M University (AAMU) celebrated the launch of a scoreboard at Louis Crews Stadium.
This summer, AAMU President Andrew Hugine, Jr., announced a new scoreboard would be erected during the 2018 football season at the 22,000-seat stadium.
According to a statement, a fundraising drive raised more than $1 million to erect the structure. The project attracted more than 300 donors.
Archie Tucker II, vice president for marketing, communication, and advancement, added that AAMU will now have the ability to run paid advertisements and a digital marquee that will provide advertising to some 45,000 motorists daily.
Athletic Director Bryan Hicks noted that the fan experience will be enhanced through instant replay, a loud meter, and kiss cam to name a few.
