The Foundation for Educational Development Inc. (FEDI) recently shared some important updates on the work they have done so far this year.
During National Veterans and Military Families Month, November 2020, FEDI conducted a hugely successful virtual career day for K-12 students in conjunction with veterans in the BEYA Stars and Stripes committee.
The online event provided pre-college students the opportunity to learn more about pursuing a career in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields from professionals across all areas of STEM.
Every year since 1993, FEDI has developed programs designed to encourage the next generation to pursue educational and career paths in STEM. Through an extensive network of professionals, FEDI has exposed participants to real-life role models and success stories in STEM careers.
FEDI is once again participating in #GivingTuesday, a global generosity movement that unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.
GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past eight years, it has grown into a movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. On this day you can show your generosity by making a donation.
