To mark America's inauguration day 2021, Career Communications Group looks back at retired Coast Guard rear admiral Stephen Rochon sharing his experiences at the White House during a recent BEYA STEM Conference.
In the video, "My days at the White House," Rear Adm. Rochon, one of the founding fathers of the BEYA STEM Conference's Stars and Stripes event, talks about his service as director of the Executive Residence and White House Chief Usher.
Rochon was the first White House Chief Usher of African American descent. He retired from active duty with the Coast Guard in 2007 and began his service at the White House. Take a listen.
