Thirteen Booz Allen Hamilton will be recognized with various awards for innovation, creativity, and leadership at the Black Engineer of the Year Awards (BEYA) Conference, which will be held February 9-11 in Washington, D.C. Click here to register.
The awards recognize achievement in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Since 2005, BEYA, in conjunction with US Black Engineer magazine and the Council of Engineering Deans of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities, has honored over 100 Booz Allen employees for their engineering, science, and technical excellence.
Siraaj Hasan, a management consulting services company principal, will accept the Black Engineer award for Outstanding Technical Contribution. As Booz Allen’s senior cyber expert for the defense department, Siraaj manages 200 cyber professionals, network engineers, systems engineers, modeling & simulation subject matter experts, cyber operators, and cyber tool developers.
Science Spectrum Trailblazer award winners are Ricky Reid, a vice president who works with global defense and corporate executives to drive Booz Allen’s corporate mergers and acquisitions strategy; Howard Foard, principal director of Booz Allen's worldwide global wargame and exercise commercial practice; and Ebony Thomas, a senior associate and thought leader in the development of business solutions for an array of clients. She also previously led the change management practice for the rollout of the military’s electronic healthcare record system impacting over 50 military hospitals, 300 clinics, and 9.5 million beneficiaries globally.
Modern-Day Technology Leader award winners include automation engineer Anthony "AJ" Lambert, Jr.; lead engineer Christina Legget; Jacklyn Ebiasah, an orchestration lead; lead associates James Hampton Justine Baker and Samira Willis; senior associates Leslie Stevens-Johnson and Paul Robinson, and associate Tanya Zanders.
