Black Engineer Magazine Publisher Meets with Mayor Pete on HBCUs
Tyrone Taborn, Career Communications Group CEO and publisher of US Black Engineer, magazine met with Mayor Pete Buttigieg at a recent event to discuss STEM education. He is a candidate for the Democratic Party nomination in the 2020 United States presidential election.
“My first question to @PeteButtigieg during his visit to the Bowman Family Vineyard is about what he plans to do for HBCUs. The South Bend Mayor discusses how he plans to invest $50 billion into HBCUs and minority-serving institutions,” wrote Taborn on his Facebook page.
