Tyrone Taborn, publisher and chief content officer of Career Communications Group (CCG), and Jean Hamilton, CCG president and chief financial officer, will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award at the twentieth anniversary gala of BMORENEWS dot com.

Taborn and Hamilton have been the driving force behind CCG, a media company based in Baltimore, for over three decades. Since the 1980s, CCG has expanded opportunities for hundreds of people as they issued thousands of magazine titles, including US Black Engineer, Hispanic Engineer, and Women of Color.

CCG has also hosted annual diversity conferences and job fairs in large urban cities across America, including Baltimore, Dallas, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and Detroit, to promote the significant achievement of minorities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields.

Hamilton and Taborn will receive the prestigious award from BMORENEWS dot com at a special 20th-anniversary gala, which is scheduled to take place on the observation deck of the BWI-Thurgood Marshall Airport. The guest host is Ricky Smith, CEO of the airport.
