Christine Dedrick will be recognized for outstanding technical contributions as a systems engineering leader at the 2022 BEYA STEM Conference. Ms. Dedrick leads systems engineering across Infrared Countermeasures programs, including technical reviews, specification updates, technical readiness assessment updates, software updates, and technical refresh efforts. She also ensures the processes are in accordance with Department of Defense systems engineering policies.

In ​​addition, she is responsible for talent management of the engineering workforce, which comprises production, software development, cybersecurity, test & evaluation, modeling & simulation, and basic systems engineering disciplines. She is a true ambassador of women and minorities and has professional affiliations with the Federally Employed Women (FEW) organization and the North Alabama professional chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE).
