The Thurgood Marshall College Fund and Wells Fargo have announced financial assistance to outstanding students attending one of TMCF’s member schools that include 47 publicly-supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs).

According to the press release, selected scholars will receive a scholarship up to $5,000 for the 2021-2022 academic school year. To apply, you must be enrolled full-time as a senior, have a  grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and be able to demonstrate a financial need.

Scholarship recipients will be offered the opportunity of a mentoring relationship through the Mentor Collective program, which seeks to make life-changing relationships a feature of every student’s college experience. To realize this vision, the program partners with forward-thinking institutions that are committed to equity, inclusion, and relationship-centered education.

Additionally, applicants will have the opportunity to subscribe to an emailed newsletter for tips and insights on making the most of college, managing your money, and starting a career.
