Emmy-nominated producer Toni Robinson will lead the production team for the 2020 Women of Color STEM Conference Awards Gala, which will be held on Saturday, October 10 in Detroit, Michigan. The show will be streamed on YouTube.

Toni has been associated with the Women of Color STEM Awards since 1998. She returns for the 2020 awards show at the Women of Color STEM Conference this fall.

Toni’s expertise has brought national recognition to Career Communications Group, Inc. (CCG) for over 20 years, co-producing award-winning syndicated television featuring science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) leaders who inspire young people of color.

She has produced countless CCG events from Women of Color in STEM and Black Engineer of the Year Awards to Hispanic Engineer of the Year programming. She was also blessed to produce a documentary in Israel, highlighting Mount Pleasant Church & Ministries’ ministering through music.

CCG’s High-Tech Sunday is produced by and for CCG’s community of alumni and professionals in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields, thought leaders, and aspiring students, to bring a concentrated discussion around technological advancements and achievements based on universal moral principles.

The one-hour podcasts are streamed every Sunday. They can be accessed through the BEYA Facebook page, Women of Color Facebook page, and CCG YouTube page ​in addition to Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Podbean, and Spotify.

Toni has over 30 years of television and corporate experience, and began her career at Baltimore, Maryland’s ABC-TV affiliate. Her credits include serving as an associate producer for “People Are Talking,” where she made a name for herself booking and producing shows featuring well-known celebrities, including Tom Hanks, Eartha Kitt, and Martha Stewart.

As an independent producer, Toni has booked, interviewed, written, and produced talk shows, live events, and syndicated PBS cable shows featuring Fortune 100 CEOs, military leaders and astronauts, celebrities from Ossie and Ruby Davis to Diana Ross, LL Cool J, Jada Pinkett, Leontyne Price, and Cee Cee Winans to civil rights activists Rev. James Lowery and Jessie Jackson.
