Career Communications Group, Inc., publisher of US Black Engineer & Information Technology magazine and host of the annual BEYA STEM Conference, has released the 2018 Top Supporters of Historically Black College and Universities (HBCU) Engineering list.
The “Top Supporters” list surveys the deans of the 15 ABET-accredited HBCU engineering programs, and the corporate-academic alliance, Advancing Minorities’ Interest in Engineering (AMIE).
In completing the annual survey, the institutions consider support for infrastructure modernization, research and mentorship projects, participation on advisory councils, faculty development opportunities, scholarships, student projects, stipends, co-ops, and career opportunities.
