Stuff has announced its annual CES 2018 Wearable Tech Award winners, with honorees spanning a range of categories, including watches, fitness devices, and health and beauty gadgets.

Jabra Elite Sports 65t earphones

At CES, Jabra showcased three products: Elite 45e, Elite 65t, and Elite Active 65t.  Each headphone contains micro phones to ensure users will always be heard, whether you’re speaking to Alexa or out on the street. In addition, the Jabra Sound+ app allows you to personalize your music. The products come in two versions: one for daily on-the-go use and an ‘Active’ version, made for training and sport.  The Jabra Elite 65t will be available in selected retailers at an MSRP at USD 169.99. The Jabra Elite Active 65t will be available early April in selected retailers at an MSRP at USD/EUR 189.99.

Garmin’s Forerunner 645 Music

The GPS Running Watch can download up to 500 songs to your watch, and connect with Bluetooth® headphones for phone-free listening. Garmin Pay™ contactless payment also lets you make payments with your watch, so you can leave your cash and cards at home. It provides running dynamics and uses wrist-based heart rate to offer performance monitoring features, including evaluating your current training status. Battery life is up to 7 days in smartwatch mode; 5 hours in GPS mode with music. Estimated availability is 5 – 8 weeks.

Casio’s G-Shock Rangeman GPR B-1000

Casio America, Inc.has released the latest addition to its Rangeman series of watches, which supports the wearer even in survival situations. The new GPR-B1000 features the world’s first solar-assisted GPS navigation and will be available in two models. The Rangeman is part of the “Master of G” series of watches designed for use in the most extreme conditions. Rangeman watches incorporate Triple Sensor to measure compass bearing, atmospheric pressure/altitude, and temperature, based on the concept of “Survival Toughness.”

 

PowerWatch X

Matrix PowerWatch X is billed as the watch that you won’t have to charge. Powered by your body heat, it comes with tougher with a reinforced bezel, 200m water resistance, and with a nearly indestructible silicone rubber strap at an incredible price. Estimated to ship in January 2018.


Skagen Falster

Lifestyle brand SKAGEN launched its first-ever touchscreen smartwatch. In four brilliant colorways, including mesh straps in both stainless steel and rose, SKAGEN’s new Falster Smartwatch, powered by Android Wear™ 2.0 and the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ Wear 2100 platform, launches in January 2018.

Omron’s HeartGuide

The Omron HeartGuide, the first-ever wearable oscillometric wrist blood pressure monitor, comes in the form of a wristwatch with an inflatable cuff built into the watch band. The HeartGuide uses oscillometric measurement – the inflation of a cuff to measure systolic and diastolic pressure – which is still the only FDA-recognized standard for accurate, automated blood pressure measurement at home.

Spire’s Smart Swimsuit

Swim.com, the world’s most advanced swim tracking platform, has partnered with wearables-maker Spire and SwimOutlet.com, the world’s largest swim retailer, to power the swim tracking and analytics for the world’s first smart swimsuits.The new Spire Health Tag integration for Swim.com will allow users to track, log and analyze data from their swims just by putting on their favorite suit. The device will automatically start tracking when the suit is put on and data will sync to the phone over Bluetooth where it is analyzed by Swim.com’s advanced algorithms.

However, Scosche’s Rhythm24 promises the same sort of accuracy as those straps, with some added features, like the ability to track your beats per minute underwater for those addicted to the pool.

L’Oreal UV Sense

L’Oréal UV Sense is the first wearable electronic UV sensor powered without a battery. The wearable has an accompanying mobile app, available for both iOS and Android, which translates and transfers data from the sensor. The app delivers consumer-friendly information detailing when the wearer should be mindful of UV exposure. Data is included in a profile within the app that outlines a user’s exposure levels. Sun-safety habits – like spending time in the shade or reapplying sunscreen – are encouraged with facts about sun exposure and additional tips for protection.

Vive Pro VR headsets that support 3D spatial sound, and biggest of all, the optional VIVE Wireless Adapter means you will not be tethered to a computer anymore.
