Recently, Career Communications Group hosted a seminar at the annual BEYA STEM Conference presented by Amazon Global Robotics.

The seminar was titled, A Deeper Look Into One of Amazon’s Leadership Principles, and featured a panel with some of Amazon’s principal technologists. They discussed their roles as individual contributors and how they have used their expertise to invent, innovate and optimize output for their organizations.

Amazon believes that invention and innovation go hand in hand, requiring breakthrough conventions and technical limitations. Invention involves envisioning a future in which things are significantly different and then figuring out how to get there.

Innovation involves taking an existing process or product and imagining what it could become by breaking down the constraints that make it work the way it does today. Click here to listen.
