STEM City USA Metaverse has recently made available an archive of seminars from the past three years of the Black Engineer of the Year and Women of Color STEM Conferences.
This archive provides valuable information from leading experts in the field, and it can be accessed through the STEM City USA Digital Library. USBE’s Podcast of the Day has featured several of these seminars, and here are a few that were featured in September.
Emerging technologies such as the metaverse, mixed reality, nano, quantum, analytics, and robotics have now reached the point of productization in the manufacturing and supply chain distribution phase.
To integrate these technologies, an advanced delivery platform is necessary, capable of mixed reality experiences and digital “twinning” of physical objects. Smart manufacturing will be able to fully utilize innovations like the metaverse to leverage mixed reality and 3D visualization experiences, which are essential for empowering green science and research, advanced learning, and connected global community sharing.
In this seminar by Career Communications Group, titled “X-treme Resumes: Constructing a Stellar Resume”, participants will learn how to create a winning resume that stands out from the rest and lands them the job of their dreams.
This seminar offers tips such as writing down everything you remember, reviewing test questions, and making an educated guess. Test-taking is an important skill for college success. In colleges and universities, much of a student’s grades are based on quiz and test performance. Doing well on these tests is an indicator of subject matter knowledge.
